What we do with your email
Last updated 27 July 2026
We keep your address and the city you asked for, so we can email you once — when that city goes live. That is the whole purpose. We don’t sell it, share it, or send you anything else.
What we collect
Two things, and only when you fill in the form: your email address and the city you requested. That’s it. No name, no account, no password, no profile.
We don’t set cookies, we don’t run analytics or advertising trackers, and there is nothing on this site that follows you to other sites.
What we use it for
- To email you when the city you asked for is indexed and live on crudo.guide.
- To count how many people asked for each city, which is what decides the order we work in. The register on the front page shows those counts. It never shows who asked — only how many.
We won’t use your address for a newsletter, marketing, or anything you didn’t ask for. If we ever want to, we’ll ask you first.
Who can see it
Not the website. The addresses live in a table that the public site has no permission to read at all — the page can add a request and read the per-city counts, and that is the entire extent of what it can do. Your address is not reachable from anyone’s browser, including yours.
Behind that, the people running CRUDO can read the list through the database’s admin console in order to actually send the emails. Nobody else.
Where it’s kept
In a Postgres database hosted by Supabase, in the EU (Frankfurt). Requests are stored with the address, the city and a timestamp.
How long we keep it
Until we’ve emailed you about your city, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. If a city turns out to be one we’ll never cover, we delete the requests for it rather than sit on the addresses.
Getting it deleted
Ask, and we’ll delete it. No form, no conditions, no “are you sure”. Message @crudo.guide on Instagram or @crudoguide on X, or reply to any email we’ve sent you. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, which will be a short list.
Other companies this page talks to
Loading the page fetches things from a few services. They see your IP address the way any website’s asset host does. None of them are given your email address.
| Netlify | Hosts and serves the site. Keeps ordinary server logs. |
| Supabase | The database the form writes to and the register reads from. |
| Google Fonts | Serves the three typefaces the page is set in. |
| unpkg, jsDelivr | Serve the drawing library and the map geometry the globe is built from. |
Changes
If this changes, we’ll change this page and move the date at the top. There’s no version of this where the answer becomes “we sold your address”.
